Every village leaves a signal behind โ the talks, the jams, the 2 a.m. breakthroughs. Most of the time it evaporates when the tents come down. A P.I.T. is how a village keeps it: Public Information Transmission โ a forkable protocol for gathering a community's knowledge and gifting it back, open-source, forever. The name carries its whole ancestry in three letters: born as Play IT Together at a hackathon jam in Delhi, raised in the orchestra pit โ where the musicians sit, rarely in the spotlight, always holding the signal โ and now full-grown as Public Information Transmission: the pit, as protocol.

The Circularity Ledger
I'm going to live in the open completely with my grants now. No receipt emails, no boring reports โ just this board. Gifts arrive public or private (the gifter always chooses; private gifters are honored as ๐บ anonymous), and every gift that flows through me flows onward โ the ledger shows both directions. These are the opening entries; the numbers begin here.
How it matures: gifts arriving for the road ahead โ Tokyo, Mumbai โ will appear here with public/private honors, and what they become will be tracked outward on the same board. A living receipt of expansive circularity. The more I give, the more I receive.
